Staples Every College Girl Needs in Her Wardrobe

College is the pivotal time where we make connections, become young professionals, and endure presentations and interviews galore. For me, college was the time I began to work in a professional environment and wanted my coworkers to take me seriously though I was still a student. A wardrobe is utterly important to looking professional and taking that next step into the “real world.” Like Gary always says: “dress for the job you want to have.” Here are a few staples I think every college girl needs in her wardrobe and what to wear to different activities.

Sunday Vibes | 28

Hi, guys! This week went by so quick, which I’m so happy for because we are at home visiting with family this weekend. Plus, the higher temperatures have me super excited for spring! As for the blog, I’ve been working on content for March. If you have any requests, feel free to send them my way! Also, I started vlogging this week! I’ve been vlogging since October, but have been way too scared to post them. However, when I met up with Abby last weekend, she convinced me to do it for real and actually post videos. If you want to be the first to know when my first vlog goes live, make sure you’re signed up to receive my newsletter and subscribed to my Youtube channel. Gary and I are also planning on doing a Q&A video soon, so if you have any questions, leave them down below!

Apartment Inspiration | Living Room

If you’re signed up for my monthly newsletter, you’d know that Gary and I have decided to move apartments in the coming months! We knew we’d only live downtown briefly because we wanted to get to know the city when we first moved to Indy. Plus, it’s just us two, so we don’t take up too much space and knew that we could survive in a tiny apartment. Since I’ve been thinking about how I want to decorate our new apartment, I thought I’d start sharing some apartment inspiration by room during the next few months.

Candid Convos: How Our Relationship Changed After Marriage

Welcome back to the blog today, everyone! I wanted to introduce a new series here on the blog called “Candid Convos.” Yes, I know, the name is cheesy, but it’s the only one I could think of! All of my more personal posts will live under this new series. I’ve written a few in the past that have fit into this category, so you can read them here or just search “candid convos” in the search bar. My hopes for this series is that I can open up a little more and share my experiences, thoughts, and journeys as the years go on. I have a few subjects in the back of my mind to write about, but if you have any suggestions or questions, please message me (I don’t bite, I promise!)!
